I want someone who looks at me the way Mulder looks at Scully at the end of the Cher episode (The Post-Modern Prometheus?). Or in fact the way he looks at her like 80% of their screen time. That is not too much to ask, is it?
As you may or may not know, I’ve been going through stuff for a while now. I haven’t had the interest to put pen to paper, so to speak, nor have I felt I have anything to say. This post is not particularly close to the aforementioned ‘stuff,’ but this is the topic in which I have something to say right now, so here goes.
It’s kind of funny… My inspiration for writing, as well as my topic, has often been inspired by Carrie in Sex and the City. Which I guess means that it is appropriate that the thing that gets me back to writing is something that Carrie once wrote about, or at least referenced, on the show: The Way We Were. I decided that it’s time to move on from LiveJournal. I haven’t yet decided if I’m moving all the entries or not, and I don’t know where this decision came from, but that’s it.
I think maybe the decision came from this wave of “fed-up-ness” I’ve been feeling for a while. Tired, angry, frustrated, the usual. So there…
